Book a day of one-to-one tuition with an expert lampshade tutor – Joanna, Mel or Naomi – in the sewing room at Traditional Upholstery School. You’ll be taught all the core skills, from planning and measuring the fabric, to hand stitching the pleats in place. Skills include fitting an informal pleated lining, and adding lashings of fringe as the final flourish.
