Book a day of one-to-one tuition with an expert lampshade tutor – Joanna, Mel or Naomi – in the sewing room at Traditional Upholstery School. You’ll be taught all the core skills, from binding the frame to hand stitching the gathers in place using Joanna’s unique and easy gathering technique. You’ll learn how to fit both an informal pleated or a balloon lining, and finish with a smart bias trim.
